Academics
Evaluation will be conducted in two terms in the form of Periodic and Half Yearly/Yearly Assessment spread throughout the session. Half Yearly Exam and Yearly Exam will be conducted in the months of October and March respectively.
Syllabus for Half Yearly Exam and Yearly Exam will be according to the CBSE guidelines.
Periodic Assessment: In Compliance with the Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation Policy at Secondary Level as recommended by CBSE and National Curriculum Framework 2005, along with pen paper test, other modes of assessment will be a part of classroom interactive activities.
Class Activities: MCQ, Investigative Projects, Presentation, Models making, Quiz, and Crossword Puzzles. , Group discussions, Debate, Role play, Posters, Charts, Photographs, Visit to Bank, Post office, etc.
There will be no re-test in case a child misses a test.
The integrated result comprising grades scored in CCE-UTS (I, II, III & IV) and Final Exams (I & II) will be declared at the end of the academic session, as per the following specifications:

The Progress Profile:
The Progress Profile of a student will be charted in two terms in an Academic Session.
Term-I (100 Marks) : April to September
Term-II (100 Marks) : October to March
20 Marks for Periodic Assessment + 80 Marks for Half Yearly/Final Exam.
Periodic Tests: 10 Marks
Notebook Submission: 5 Marks
Subject Enrichment Activities: 5 Marks
Final Exam shall be of 80 marks with the following syllabus coverage
Grade VI: 10% of 1st term covering significant topics plus entire syllabus of 2nd term.
Grade VII: 20% of 1st term covering significant topics plus entire syllabus of 2nd term.
Grade VIII: 30% of 1st term covering significant topics plus entire syllabus of 2nd term.
